This unique piece is a 1945 Evans figural lighter called the "Top Kick Sergeant," featuring the double-sided face of a soldier.
There are age related tarnish/spots and some black paint loss around the base with a few dents. The wooden base that covers the music box mechanism is slightly askew but could be removed if desired. The lighter mechanism clicks easily, and we are guessing if filled with lighter fluid, it would work, but it can not be positive. The music box does not appear to be functioning. Once the lighter is removed, the figure is supposed to rotate playing music on its box base.
Music bow will slightly make noise if wound but ultimately it is broken.
